Learning Batik By Computer’s Software

We must say Alhamdulillah because Batik was declared and inaugurated as  an original culture by the Organization Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).  Before the inaugural that fell on October 2, 2009,  the spirit of knowing and using the batik was echoed by the Indonesian people themselves.  To restore enthusiasm for batik, batik lover of many groups that present an introduction and teaching how to learning batik easily.  Now there are many software that are part of an effort to introduce batik to the younger generation and preserve it so as not to become extinct…

Yogyakarta and Surakarta Batik

Batik Yogyakarta and Surakarta came from the same source, namely Mataram palace batik patterns. No wonder if many of them have same pattern,  although in its development is also different.  Many common pattern,  although a different name.  Surakarta Batik pattern was called “Parang Sarpa” but in Yogyakarta is known as “Golang-galing”.  “Cemeng” lyrical patterns in Surakarta, Yogyakarta called “Rujak senthe”.  One of  difference is in terms of wearing batik patterns Wastra in parang and lereng pattern. History Of Batik

Batik is one of the nation’s cultural heritage of Indonesia. Many districts in Indonesia have a culture to developed Batik  especially in Java Island like Pekalongan, Yogyakarta, Solo and others districts. So, Batik nowadays seems to be closely related to the island of Java in Indonesia, who over centuries, been developing the ancient art form to its present day art form as the highly developed intricate batik.
